1.5 JVM on Windows 2000 Server ?

Thread view:

Does anyone know if Sun dropped Windows 2000 Server support with the
1.5 JDK ?

Sun's official "system configurations" lists Win2k Pro, but not Win2k
Server:

http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.5.0/system-configurations.html

And in previous versions they did have a line for Win2k Server.  But it
seems weird that they would support Win2K Pro but not Server (as
they're basically the same OS).

I have noticed the W2K is missing from the choices you can use to
report a bug.  Oddly though, the do list NT.

Java 1.5 runs fine on our Win 2000 Server.

I was not aware of any special treatment/exemptions for W2K Server.
