hi, i downloaded transaction api (JTA) but are not sure where to put it so i
can import the relevant classes. thanks,mark

Anywhere on the classpath of whatever is trying to use it.

You *do* know how to set the classpath for your app., right?
[ And if your IDE does it for you, that is a good case for dumping
the IDE and learning how it works from the command line. ]
