J2ME: text displaying problems

Thread view:
Branko Kaucic - 24 Jun 2005 10:49 GMT
Hi all.

I am using j9 on my device and when I display text on form, two
things happen:
1) text is arranged in too many lines (too much empty space is on
the left and on the right at each line) :(
2) when there is so much text, that scrollbar appears, in many cases
it happen that one or two characters of the text in the line (the
right most) are covered with scrollbar and are therefore invisible :(

Could you please help me somehow with this.
Are there any properties that should be set for this not to happen?
Or, does anyone know about a class (link, or anything would be great)
that allows showing text in proper way (some kind of extended version of
Canvas?)?

Regards,
Branko

..hmm.  Did not notice 'J2ME' in the subject until (long)
after I had gone hunting for the mysterious 'j9'.

Yes, that's the one.
I didn't write e-mail to them, because I already wrote
one, when I was asking about installing optional package
for using external memory cards and they didn't reply (one
month ago).
