Plug-in.........

I have J2SDK1.4.0 environment installed . To see an applet I was asked to
install
a new Plugin version . Now I have JRE 1.4.0 and JRE 1.4.2 installed !!! Have
I to
uninstall 1.4.0 version or can both be working ?

This will work fine, but if you want a clean java installation, uninstall
both and download 1.4.2_01 from java.sun.com
