Java and MVS

hi everybody. it seems we are going to write a new
application for our main customer involving some
host program invocation. we don't know too much about
this environment, so we will be glad if anyone can
show us some good links about how can interact a
8086 java program with the ibm machine.

If I am understanding your needs:

1.  You have a Java application running on Intel box.

2.  You have a subsystem, maybe DB2, running on the
   IBM z/OS mainframe.

3.  You want your Java application to interact somehow
   with the DB2 on the mainframe.
