RI/RTSJ and TimeSys Linux

Is the TimeSys Linux the only way to get a real-time Linux for
real-time
Java?
My problem is, that the TimeSys kernel (3.1.214) does not boot and
building it from the source is not possible. There are syntax errors
in
several include files (wrong inline assembler).

Any suggestions to test RTSJ in a real-time environment (RTOS)?

As far as we know - yes.  But TimeSys "deterministic" RT behavior the
provide comes with a steep performance penalty.

IOW - you can set up for an operation to happen at a determined time, say
best case every 5 seconds, but on fast JVMs like JRockit, the same operation
will happen in subsecond times - you just can't control GC and deterministic
behavior or recoup memory.
