need jvm for linux

Thread view:

I am looking for a jvm for linux. I don't need a jdk, I don't want to
create or compile java programs I just want to be able to run them.
Does anyone know of a jvm that is small (the smaller the better) that
I can use to run on linux?

Thanks

What you are looking for is the Java Runtime Environment (JRE).

http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/download.html

Download the "J2SE v 1.4.2_03     JRE"
