How to refresh the component and show on screen

Thread view:

I have couples of components like label, button, textfield.  The text
of the component is getting from the properties file and would like
dynamic changes.
Do you know which method can refresh the component and then show the
new value on the screen ?

I can do in a very very stupid method :
i) remove all components from the container
ii) create again all component with the new values from the properties
file
iii) show the window.

This stupid method will quickly used up the memory of my PC.   Please
help !

setText(). I would like to suggest that you get a copy of the API
documentation and also work throught the GUI tutorial.

Then you have a memory leak. Check if you remove all listeners.
