java swing gui/windows xp problem

Thread view:

Hi

Has anyone had this happen before? I developed a Java Swing GUI in
Windows NT and the GUI displayed fine, however, trying to run the same
program in Windows XP causes GUI painting issues. Certain swing
components don't get drawn or displayed. Only after mousing over these
buttons/menu items do they appear but they disappear again as soon as
the window is not the one currently selected. I checked my
environmental variables and they are exactly the same. Any ideas on
what's wrong?  Thanks

No.

Write a short simple program that will demonstrate the problem and post
the code here and somebody will figure it out for you in no time.
