Wanted: AWT grid

Thread view:
news.xs4all.nl - 05 Dec 2005 13:21 GMT
Hello,

For a project, I'm looking for a grid/ table component which is written with
AWT. Does anyone know where I can find such components?

Regards,

Dennis

I was just wondering if you could use swing?  the JTable sounds exactly
like what you want.

It is possible to mix AWT and Swing, but you will always have some hassle
about heavy weight vs. light weight components.

Hello,

Using Swing could be the solution, but I'll give some background information
why I cannot use it.

The reason why I cannot use Swing, is that I'm writing a mobile application,
which has to compatible with J2ME (CDC PP) and Personal Java. The oldest
Personal Java version is based on JDK 1.1.8, which doesn't contain Swing
components.

Thanks so far!

Dennis
