JCombobox select item

Thread view:

Hi,

How do I show a JCombobox always display the selected item as the
first selection. For example you have the following list

Apple
Pear
Banana
Melon
Grapes

If I press the 'B' then the banan item has to be the first item in the
combo box displayed.

setSelected(...) or it depends how your list was originally populated.

Have you tried adding an actionListener which re-orders the list when an
item is selected?
