How to get the mirror image of character using graphics2D

Hi,

I want to get mirror image of '~' character. How can I achieve this
using graphics2D.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

g2d.transform(new AffineTransform(-1f, 0f, 0f, 1f));
g2d.drawString("~", x, y);

Be warned that this will seriously mess up the x part your coordinate system.
You can correct this with getWidth() and g2d.getFontMetrics().charWith('~').
