Problems loading my code into NetBean 4.0

Thread view:

hello,

I have developed a relatively large library and a number of applications
using netbeans 3.6.

I just upgraded to NB 4.0 and now when I try to open some of the beans I
get the error that some parts of these beans cannot be loaded.

I am sorry I am not including any code, but I just wanted to know if
people are having problem moving to 4.0 from 3.6.

My code compiles and run ok with the latest jdk1.5 but simply it doesn't
load correctly into NB4.0

Also, I noticed that it always complies about the names of my packages.
Even though if I compile the project from within NB 4.0 it compiles and
runs ok.

Any pointers?

I had huge problems. NB 4.0 is severely broken.

Go back to NB 3.6, like I did. Then look around for
another IDE product that supports jdk1.5.

Thanks,

I already changed my code to compile with 1.5 so unfortunately it is too
late to change back to 3.6, I am just surprised that no body is
reporting any problems so far. Did I upgrade too soon?

Thanks anyway, I hope I can get the solution soon....
