Printing API : how to know the 1st printed page after a printDialog() call ?

Thread view:
Bernard Segonnes - 20 Dec 2004 13:04 GMT
Hi,

I have a PrinterJob (job).
I don't use Book.
Just before calling job.print(), I call the job.printDialog() method.
The user has the possibility to start printing at page  2 for instance.
How can I know this page number before the print() callback method is called ?

Thanks,

Bernard

You simply don't know.
the print() callback will be called for each page,
starting from page one, and the callback has to render
each page. The printsystem itself then decides to
actually print the requested page or not, based on the
choice in the print-dialog.
