Text in a Menu

Hi,

Is it possible to put a JTextField in a JMenuItem. Or do somehthing like
that. I have heard it can be done with java 1.4, is this true. If so can
anyone let me know how to do this or point me to somewhere i can find
out about it.

Do you hate your users, or why are you attempting this?

If yes, just go through
