Including fonts in application distribution

Thread view:
Don Leckie - 05 Feb 2004 18:25 GMT
Hi,

I want to use some fancy fonts to modernize my Swing application so that it
looks more like Web pages.  Is there a library of free fonts (or not too
expensive) that I could distribute with my application?  Also, I would like
to alter some text with special effects.  Can anyone recommend a product?

Thank you,
Don Leckie

If the user can see a font in a web-page,
they have it installed on their system.

In that case, Java can access it as well.

Yes.

Bitstream recently put out a family of free fonts.
