Here's a very good and useful one:
http://java.sun.com/docs/books/tutorial/uiswing/index.html

Also have a look here: http://java.sun.com/docs/books/tutorial/index.html

You can download the content of the aforementioned links (although if
you want to search something you must be connected to the net :-( ).

Download:
http://java.sun.com/docs/books/tutorial/information/download.html

PS: I don't want to offend you, but how about an english course to get
rid of these mistakes you make?

It indeed looks as if the original site is gone. Snapshots can be found
at the wayback machine under

http://web.archive.org/web/*/www2.gol.com/users/tame/swing/examples/

Some of the examples could stand some updating to the current Swing
version. Maybe there is some volunteer who wants to resurrect the
examples? If someone does, please send me a pointer to the new site, so
I can update the FAQ (submission address is in the FAQ, too).

London? No one speaks English in London :-)

I would be happy to rehost the examples,
and could put some time into updating them,
but I am too busy at the moment to go
trawling around the site download the
various sources..

I do not suppose anybody either has them
as a zip or would be willing to make them so?

You do realise that 'english' is meant to be capitalised, don't you? :-)
