java library with input component without AWT and without SWING for AIX

Thread view:

Hi,

Anyone know a library or a project implementing Gui component without
AWT or Swing.
I need simply an input field with a frame on an AIX server with JDK
1.3.1 and without X11.

Thanks
Philippe

Perhaps:

http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Grid/1239/

or:

There is another one out there but the name escapes me.

Hi,

I use JDK 1.3.1 on my AIX server, so theses Text AWT implementation
need to work with Java2.

Thanks

I *knew* the third one I've seen had a name beginning with 'CH', but I
simply couldn't recall it.  Thanks to Google and some stubborness on my
part, I've found it.  It's called CHARVA.

http://www.pitman.co.za/projects/charva/

I did a quick test via a PuTTY session to my remote Linux box and it
seems to have more than enough functionality to do what you desire (i.e.
popping up a frame with an input field).

Hope that helps,

Jim S.
