JLabels and word wrap

Thread view:
kelvSYC - 21 Nov 2003 02:48 GMT
Do JLabels automatically word-wrap if the label text is too long?  If
not, is there a way to show a really long line without using HTML or
JTextComponents?

I am only a mirage.

Why the constraints?  (no HTML/JText)

( ..but in order to answer your actual question, no
I do not know of a suitable component.  If you
try adding '\n' to the JLabel text I am pretty sure
the JLabel will express the newline as a 'box'..
and that is where I run out of ideas.)
