JDBC-ODBC 1.3.1_03 vs.1.4.1_03 ResultSet-Problem

Thread view:
ACDEKA - 23 Jul 2003 15:05 GMT
Situation: All Programs works fine including the bridge using 1.3.
Now we upgraded to 1.4.1_03 and thought, that there should no probs.
But: Every rs of a query ("SELECT * from ANYDB" and the statement with
ConcurUpdatable!!) now holds only ONE row. (we checked it with
rs.last). On the other hand, if we use SELECT (COUNT *) we get the
correct # of rows. Further Tests - with Read-Only-setting - are o.k.
Finally we havent changed the Driver (IBM CA 32-bit) nore any other
environments. The problem is independen of the OS (we reproduced it
on W2K and XPP machines) and with our last test:in 1.4.2 too

Question: What is new/changed in the JDBC-ODBC-Bridge in version
1.4.x?
Where can we find more information abaout any circumv. if
exist?
Or is there a (known) bug?

Thanks for assistance.

What database are you working with? If there is a JDBC-
driver you should switch to that one because the
JDBC-ODBC-bridge should only be used if everything
else failed.
