I am using mySQL and connectorJ.
As I know there are at least 3 types suitable for date storage in JAVA.
java.sql.Date
java.sql.Time
java.sqlTimestamp
If the data type in mySQL is Datetime or Timestamp, which Java type is
better ?

All three of the java.sql date types are best used as adapters to use
existing instances of java.util.Date in your data layer. For that
purpose, java.sql.Timestamp best corresponds with MySQL's datetime and
timestamp fields.
Outside your data layer, just use instances of java.util.Date, rather
than spreading the JDBC API through your application code. It's cheap
enough to wrap them when you get to the database access.
