Configuring Tomcat container to access remote MySql DB on Solaris

Hi all,

I have apache and tomcat on win2k as local machine. And we have a
central database Mysql on sun solaris. So can some one explain me how
i should configure tomcat container on win2k to access mysql db using
MySql jdbc driver mysql-connector-java-3.0.11-stable.jar

I've recently been going through Sun's JWSDP 1.3 tutorial, which
contains a section on accessing databases from web applications. Since
the JWSDP includes Tomcat, it addresses changing the Tomcat
configuration to refer to a database. Unfortunately, it's not MySQL,
but it does refer to the Tomcat administration docs where you use
admintool to configure data sources. Perhaps that will get you a bit
closer.
