Connector/J download

Thread view:

Hi,
I am trying to build some Java-Software around a mysql db.
Problem ist I can't download Connector/J.

The site

http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/connector/j/3.1.html

seems to be down.

Does anyone know where I can download this driver ?
Other version might be ok, my mysql-manual says 5.0 would be great.
For starters I would be happy with any version of Connector/J.

Wherever I look I get redirected to that above mysql site, which simply does
not work.

Any help really appreciated

It works fine from my corner of the Internet at 20:40 GMT on Monday 27

dev.mysql.com/downloads is the official MySQL download site, but it
redirects to various mirror sites.  You're in Germany, so try the mirror
site at RWTH University Aachen:
