problems with eclipse birt report viewer

Thread view:

hi..

i've been trying to use BIRT and had noticed 2 things.

1. trying to export a csv file will result in a file that has unicode
chars, excel can't read these in hebrew.

2. if i try to print the file i only get a portion of the report and
upper menu along with some scroll bars.

since both these issues are related to the report , i'm asking MUST i
build my own, (if so how?) or can i use this one in production?

You may get an answer here but you might want to post this question to
the Eclipse news server at
news.eclipse.org

newsgroup eclipse.birt

You will need to get a free login and password from Eclipse.org first.
You can get it at..

It has become more active in the last 3-4 months since they have been
releasing newer versions.
