Hi.
I got the problem with inserting clobs into Oracle.
This process is very slow when I run java code on Tomcat.
(same code (same driver, same database, same data, same computer) running
from Eclipse is 10x faster).
the problem is in section :
Connection cn = ...
String data = ....
oracle.sql.CLOB clobData;
...
clobData=CLOB.createTemporary(cn,true,CLOB.DURATION_SESSION);
Writer wr = clobData.getCharacterOutputStream();
wr.write(data);
wr.flush();
wr.close();
Thanks for any suggestions.

How are you getting the connection? If the tomcat instance is
doing different connection pooling to eclipse, that could
cause problems,

I've got my own implementation of JDBC connection pooling (set of java
classes). This implementation is using in web application and in Eclipse (of
course in Eclipse this pool is creating when I start the program and then is
closing).
