You'll find it in the "Application developer client" which is freely
available on the IBM site.
www.ibm.com -> software -> all products -> D -> DB2 UDB for Windows and
linux -> support -> service packs and clients.
There are at least 4 kind of connectors and a plethora of platform
combinations, but there's a series of articles on developerworks
(another IBM site) that describe all the "use cases" of DB2.

Tanks for the information but i can't find the first steep "software"
when i put www.ibm.com the i.e redirects me to www.ibm.com/us and
there i can't find the rest. thank you again.

Did you try to use this link:
http://wwww.ibm.com/software
It will redirect you to another site - www-306.ibm.com, but on the left hand
side there is a link "All software products" which you should follow as descibed
in previous reply.

u can download the driver from inetsoftware
and the database from software.ibm.co
