CLOSE_CURSORS_AT_COMMIT

Thread view:
Raquel - 08 Jul 2004 11:09 GMT
My JDBC program has the following line:

conn.setHoldability(ResultSet.CLOSE_CURSORS_AT_COMMIT);

Where conn is a Connection object.

At compilation, it is giving error:
cannot resolve symbol: variable CLOSE_CURSORS_AT_COMMIT.

Any ideas?

TIA
Raquel.

I believe you need jdk 1.4.1. Are you using that one?

When you say "jdk version", do you mean "java version"? When I type in
"java -version", it shows that I am at 1.3.1. Is this the version that you
are referring to?

Thanks.
Raquel.

Yeah Raquel, JDK and Java version are the same.  1.4.XX was the most recent
that had most of the database features installed including ResultSets.  If
possible, its best to use a more recent one that 1.3.1 (though I remember
1.2.......)

Hope this helps
