Hi All,

I'm totally new to Java. Ive just downloade netbeans 4.0 and the Mobile
add-on.
I would like to write a small program for my nokia 6820 cellphone to do
the following.
ASk Start Time: hh:mm:ss:ms
ASk Stop Time: hh:mm:ss:ms
Ask Distance in Meter

Calculater the SPeed in KM/H
eg: speed (km/h)=distance / Difference between start&stop * 3.6

Any help appreciated.

Cheers

Hi,

learning all the stuff you need (Java in general, the mobile profile and the
NetBeans IDE) will take you weeks to months. To get proficient, you'll
probably need a year.

If I were you, I would use the calculator of the mobile instead. If you have
access to a PocketPC, then have a look at Pocket Excel. This will solve your
problem in minutes rather than weeks or months...

Regards,
Christian
