EJB Container CMP Implementation?

Thread view:
Wolfgang Keller - 04 Sep 2003 23:09 GMT
Hi all,
I've got the following questions concerning CMP (Container Managed
Persistence)
in J2EE // EJB Containers:
* if a container implements CMP for EJB are there containers that still
offer
"handcraftet" mappings (e.g. by a user provided config file)
* or does CMP automatically imply that the container uses some kind
of OODB below - which is hidden from "curious users"
* are there different strategies by different vendors to handle this issue?
Any URLs to descriptions very welcome

Thanks
Wolfgang

product, which is often available on the web. Just search for "oo
relational mapping cmp" or something on Google. Here are a few ...
