Easy X3D to VRML converter for Windows?

Thread view:

Hi can someone recommend a program that will convert from X3D format
to VRML easily within windows that works well.

Are they all java based so that you need to have Sun's java software
installed to run them or are there ones that work without that?
Thanks.

You should take a look at X3Dedit, but last time i check, you have
of update some of the configuration paths.
Hopefully, this bug has been fixed...

X3Dedit installs all required components....

In principle, X3D format to VRML conversion can be made on the fly on
a webserver...

But apart from Photoshop, I can't think of desktop applications where
you would need more than 4 gigabytes of physical memory,

What about VizX3D:
http://www.vizx3d.com/

It is an editor but can save both x3d and vrml.
